Looking for a hypoallergenic puppy?Look for the green Hypoallergenic tag.

No dog is completely hypoallergenic. The tag identifies breeds with generally lower-shedding coats; it does not promise an allergy-free puppy. Mixed-breed coats can vary. Meet the puppy and discuss allergy concerns before choosing.

AKC’s guide to dogs and allergies ↗

Hypoallergenic refers to generally lower-shedding breeds. No dog is allergy-free; mixed-breed coats vary.
