The Shih Tzu was one of the top two breeds families took home at West Jordan, Las Vegas and St. George in the past year. Families often ask whether the coat should stay long or be kept short, and how often it needs brushing. Either way works; a short trim is easier to keep clean. The AKC lists Shih Tzus at 9 to 16 pounds, 9 to 10.5 inches tall, with a life span of 10 to 18 years. That long life is worth planning for. Ask us to text you when one arrives.
