How big will my puppy get?
Will your puppy stay lap-sized or grow into a big buddy? Pick the breed and your puppy’s age. We show the grown-up size range from the breed’s adult weight guide, and how much growing is left.
What you get
- The grown-up weight range from the breed’s adult weight guide (AKC).
- How much of its grown-up size a puppy usually has at your puppy’s age (AKC puppy growth chart).
- Whether the breed is small, medium or large when grown.
- Your result by email, to keep.
How it works
- Pick a breed from the breeds we carry.
- Pick your puppy’s age in months.
- See the result and get it by email.
Example: a grown Shih Tzu weighs about 9–16 lb. At 6 months old, a small-breed puppy usually has about 75% of its grown-up size. Mixed breeds: ask the store about the parents’ sizes.
