Chihuahuas go home most often from our West Jordan store, and they ranked in the top ten at St. George in the past year. Families often ask how small a Chihuahua stays, and whether a 'teacup' is a different breed. It is not; 'teacup' is a marketing word. The AKC says a Chihuahua should not exceed 6 pounds, at 5 to 8 inches tall, with a life span of 14 to 16 years. Small dogs need gentle hands and a warm sweater on cold days. Ask us to text you when one arrives.
